From a radio point of view, the squeaky bum time went on for a lot longer than normal, even the squeaks on my squeaky bum were getting squeaks. While it sounded like Fulham were doing the majority of the attacking, after giving leeds the lead with an own goal, it certainly sounded closer than it probably was, and certainly sounded like we had upped our performance from previous games. Highlights show that Fulhams second goal (pardon the pun) went over the line off crossbar, had it been allowed it could've been a whole different game for us. Once again I think we have our defence to thank for this draw, even though Fulham got the equaliser very late. Praising and relying on our defence all too often seems to echo back to last season, and season before. This is a game we eventually drew 1-1, where Fulham scored 3 goals and we scored none, that still makes our performances a worry if we're to win playoff finals. Crainey's goal, I said very early in season that Green is an animated keeper, and I know many would disagree. An ex England keeper who dives across his goal with both arms outstretched, and apart, is going through the motions, rather than a full attempt save. Yes he's pulled off some good saves, but shots across goal seem to bring one of Green's weaknesses to surface imo. During post match comments, a listener, who had apparently been to match texted / emailed in he didn't know what Monk is going on about saying we played well, and admitted Fulham were all over us, someone at game would probably have a different opinion to his, however, Monk seems to say the same or similar things after every match, it's like his post match interviews are recorded and on rewind. Berardi going back to his favoured position of RB and plays a blinder, MOM award very well deserved imo. Make of it what you will....
