Anyone else seen Dunkirk?

Just got back from it, thought it was terrible, was bored stiff. Literally couldn't tell you the name of a single character.

Every ****er seems to be raving about it, though

I still couldn't tell you any of their names either but thought it was brilliant. Is that not a bit of a double meaning? The fact that all these men went off to war and no one cared about their names, they just went?

It seems like a film where people either really liked it or really didn't like it. Not seen many people sitting in the middle.

Best film I've seen at the cinema for years.

 

I bought two dvd's from Tesco on Friday.
Watched one with my daughter Friday night, quite enjoyed it.
Went to watch the other one last night & it wouldn't ****ing play.
Never realised when I bought it but it's a twatting bluray disc, lol, what a ****wit I am at times.
Opened the bastard now so they'll not tack it back.

One of the few where sequel is better.

 

Taking the good lady to see Dunkirk this evening. She's thrilled that I'm taking her to see a war film. Confirms that I know how to give a girl a good time.

Will give my verdict tomorrow.

 

My wife's the same although I don't think I could bribe her enough to go and see a war film at the cinema.

 

I'll go and see Dunkirk when the queues die down.

Now that's ironic.......

Watched Rogue One tonight and although I love Star Wars I didn't like it at all. Boring. Made the crappy prequels look good.

 

Can't wait for the new Bladerunner mind

Watched the most recent Thrones tonight, was a bit dodgy.
