Anyone else seen Dunkirk? Just got back from it, thought it was terrible, was bored stiff. Literally couldn't tell you the name of a single character. Every ****er seems to be raving about it, though
I still couldn't tell you any of their names either but thought it was brilliant. Is that not a bit of a double meaning? The fact that all these men went off to war and no one cared about their names, they just went? It seems like a film where people either really liked it or really didn't like it. Not seen many people sitting in the middle. Best film I've seen at the cinema for years.
I bought two dvd's from Tesco on Friday. Watched one with my daughter Friday night, quite enjoyed it. Went to watch the other one last night & it wouldn't ****ing play. Never realised when I bought it but it's a twatting bluray disc, lol, what a ****wit I am at times. Opened the bastard now so they'll not tack it back.
Taking the good lady to see Dunkirk this evening. She's thrilled that I'm taking her to see a war film. Confirms that I know how to give a girl a good time. Will give my verdict tomorrow.
My wife's the same although I don't think I could bribe her enough to go and see a war film at the cinema.
Watched Rogue One tonight and although I love Star Wars I didn't like it at all. Boring. Made the crappy prequels look good.
