Thanks for the Daily Thread again Attivo. Definitely the board hero!

Bloody awful bumper at Musselburgh tomorrow so lets no go mad. That said, I think I have the winner.

    WEMYSS POINT 6/1 Muss 5:25

Finished fast and just in front of the favourite on debut. That was in a Class 6. Connections then decided to try him in a Class 4 and he was readily outpaced from three out by some fair looking animals. He did stay on well all the same and was pegging them back a little at the finish. The third and fourth that day have run since and both have won so there is a semblance of respect to the form. Now back in a Class 6 so really should be in with a major shout!

    Good luck if you play.

Paddyplex 8/1 took my eye in that race tomorrow but i can't oppose you the form you're in. Win single on yours and reverse forecast i think and leave mine unbacked

Bookies have read Stick's selection and it's in to 9/2 already.

No opinions on that Musselburgh bumper, meself, but one runner contained within really does highlight the vagaries and huge uncertainties of racehorse ownership. Let it be a warning to you all, pilgrims. Faraday Effect was bought, as a foal, for €420,000. In July 2016 he was put back through the sales ring and went for £1,000 gns! He’s a half-bro to an Irish 1,000 winner (Just The Judge) but this is his handler’s first ever runner in a Bumper! Never heard of the old girl but she has got a lovely name for a trainer.

Thanks Ron, think we'll win, but loads of injuries, decent odds for a draw. should be a great match with some atmosphere.

Well I'll be cheering for ROI because Martin O'Neil got us into the League and won promotion in our first season. A legend at Adams Park, home of the mighty Wycombe Wanderers

Wycombe Wanderers gave us Steve Guppy as well (via Leicester).

I tried to get a set of quartered Wycombe kits for my five a side team but it just wasn't cost effective.

Most sensible thing that anyone has said on the ‘Daily Thread’ since 2009! Cod in parsley sauce, roast potatoes and broccoli. 8/10.

Stop talking about food. I have a dodgy tummy and all I'm allowed is toast, with hardly any butter on it, and water. Then the wife only comes out with strawberries and cream - none for me. I left the room immediately :steam:

A spicy chicken and mozzarella ciabatta - known in the particular Glasgow shop I get it from as an Enzo. 7/10

    Today's 3 picks:
Global Dream (Newbury 2:30 8lb rise from last time out but should like good-ish ground)
    Duelling Banjos (Newbury 3:40)
Optimus Prime (Newbury 4:10 - bit wary that it's top weight but only really has I'm a Game Changer as competition)
