That's the trouble with Hull, one week you love them, the next you hate them!

Sorry about the meltdown, but I am absolutely bloody furious with the way we've imploded!

It seems other teams have sussed out the way we play and for all Klopp makes the right noises with his reaction, I don't see it being sorted and that's because most of our players can't cut it over a long period:

Mignolet
Can
Moreno
Lovren
Lucas
and, sorry, Sturridge

Not one of them instil any confidence in the rest of the side and should go, but what I do find worrying is this: in the summer Klopp bought two good quality players in Matip and Mane and two lemons in Karius and Caulker. Karius is young enough to improve. In January Klopp should have gone for someone experienced like Joe Hart, binned off Mignolet and kept Karius as number 2 so he could learn, but too late now; only I think he's been forced to make do with what he's got because I don't think there are funds for better quality players because it's all gone on the new stand.

That's what I think.

Now I'm off to scrub the steps.

Regardless of our dip in form, I don't want us to buy for the sake of it in January if Klopp is not satisfied he can get the right players in.

Wrong; I was buzzing like anything before Christmas. The problem is if you buzz you get accused of glory-hunting and also I was afraid to get too optimistic because I do know how it goes with us.

And so it has transpired that it's gone tits up, as per.

 

I hate when people claim a manager has all of a sudden been 'found out'. As if the managers of the teams we played in previous months did no research into how we played and were sat there scratching there heads not knowing how to stop us.

Its our level that's dropped, teams haven't 'sussed us out'. If you look at our players, the likes of Coutinho, Henderson, Lallana & Firmino have lost their early season form and Mane has only just returned from an international tournament which was mentally and physically draining for him. These were the players that made us tick

Its been a really terrible month for us but considering the position we are in we still have so much to play for and hopefully the likes of Coutinho & Firmino can play themselves into form over the next few weeks.
