****ed the poll up in the other thread. I'm trying to get this one into the official one but the site is being a massive prick right now and won't let me select threads.
Not a fan of the tyre allocations. Reckon the only result is going to be a 2-stop strategy all round. This race will go to one of the Mclarens. My money's on Hamilton.
Wow its been a long 3 weeks, no idea whos gonna take this one, strategy will be key as usual, gone Jenson for this reason
Voted for Vettel because he won the last race and an in-form Vettel imo is the best driver on the grid out of those currently in competitive cars. McLaren and Lotus will be threats. Not sure about Mercedes - they could struggle with the high speed corners and high tyre degradation. Gene made a bold statement so I think Alonso will be up there, maybe fighting for the podium but most likely somewhere in the top five.
Gone for Hamilton. Heart ruling head a little. Need to get a correct winner but with this season it could be anyone out of 8 drivers.
Seb has got the car now after Bahrains showing on both quali and race pace. Seb is back in his happy place of finger wagging so I expect him to start pushing the RB8 further to try and make a gap in the WDC. Considering his "reputation" of being able to use the Pirelli's slightly more affective than others I think it will be a classic run and hide GP for Seb this weekend if it's another hot one. More upgrades and issues being resolved will be there for this weekend which means another step to (maybe) start repeating the gaps of 2011 of more than just 1 tenth to the nearest opposition. I would guess Lotus would be the biggest threat considering how well they did in the hot weather last time, they have looked strong in qualifying and race pace all season just like McLaren. Lewis will likely be in the mix of the Lotus' for a podium but if its hot i think the car will make him suffer so he might have to settle for 3rd-4th, it's likely that McLaren have sorted their act out with regard to pitstops. And all of them being hunted down by Alonso and Jenson for the podium.
I went Raikkonen. I think McLaren will be quickest in quali, but Red Bull and Lotus stronger in the race. If Kimi can get himself on the front three rows I think he'll be in a good position to win.
I've gone for Raikkonen on the zdkF1 prediction thing and I'll probably bet on him in the gambling thing but I like to hedge my bets so I'm going for Vettel on this. I think the RB8 is up there now, barring any decisive McLaren updates, and Vettel is confident again.
I just have no idea. Nor do i think any of you do. 4 different teams winning 4 races. Madness Here's my approach http://andrew.hedges.name/experiments/random/pickone.html Hamilton.
I agree with silver, Red-Bull have the car working again, the rear is jammed into the floor, Vettel has the upper hand over Webber again. I predict he will get pole, a 3 second lead in the 1st 3 laps alone and then dissapear. Hamilton could get back on the podium if his car has no clutch or gearbox issues and McLaren don't hold him in the pitlane for ever. Raikkonen will be interesting to watch, I fancy him for a podium. It will also be interesting to see If ferrari have improved and how good the sauber is at looking after tyres. HRT may well be out of the 107% time again.
The Renaults are apparently more efficient so should be lighter at the start. If vettel can get pole he may scamper off again.
