Ben Williamson scores brace for Cambridge against the 'O' 's Now Norris is crocked again and we have not signed any strikers
in this window, were we a bit hasty in letting Ben depart?

Barry Fuller, Andy Barcham, Callum Kennedy and big Bayo Akinfenwa were all involved yesterday for AFC Wimbledon as they won the League 2 play off final. Bayo announced straight after the game however that he is being released.

Andy Hessenthaler, Nicky Southall and Ian Cox all played in the Veteran's World Cup where they beat Thailand in the final to win 1-0. Well done England!

JE released him, he wasn't offered a new deal to stay at Priestfield. All of the players offered new deals have all signed and stayed.

Did feel sorry for Loft, felt he was a good player on his day but his injuries and stupid decision making at times tarnished his time here.

Doug Loft has been absent from U's team sheets for several weeks.
Looks like his old injury probs have rerturned to haunt him again.
Don't think he was ever really fit in all his time at Gills

Loft is out for 3 months. It seemed a strange decision by JED to let someone of Loft's ability go but those suspicions of his fitness have proved well founded, at least for the next 3 months. So, well done JED you got something right and instead of having the cost of Loft who seemed only available 50% of the time, we can afford the see the likes of O'Hara, Quigley and Martin.
