We know you grew up with some classics Trev and the 60s was indeed a good decade, but we are talking about the 1900s not 1800s.
I can live with that and probably actually agree. I honestly thought the 1980's was the decade music started to die with the influx of "boy bands" and "girl bands" and dancers on stage distracting everyone from the fact that the singer couldn't actually sing.
Musically, I thought it was a good start to the decade, mainly due to 70s bands. Faded mid-80s and then picked up towards the latter years. Fave albums of the 80s Combat Rock The Gift ....and I was still a Teenager unlike some other old twats on here....
More seventies. Didn't last long into the early 80s. 80s music was great though. So many good pop songs.
