Next door neighbour was Kris Akabusi (runner). (When he sold his property, Gordon Strachan bought it).

I sold Brett Ormerod's property (and was told by him he was going on loan to Leeds)

Had a good chat with Strachan in Southampton Centre 10 years back and cheekily asked him if he would ever want to manage Leeds - He told me in no uncertain terms that it would be more trouble than it was worth! I was gutted

My milkman had a cousin who lived next door to a man who used to cut Gary Glitters hair.

 

Also bumped into Dan Harding and Kelvin Davies in Winchester on the evening of the Saints - Leeds game where their keeper Davies wa world bloody class making a series of unbelievable saves. I was not impressed....

Ok here we go,all the Leeds squad from 88-89,all the squad from 90-91 my ex had photos and autographs,Becchio on southend sea front,used to chat with Vinny regular at away games.George Graham in Monaco,Harry Redknapp at Bournemouth and Luther Blissitt same time.Kenny Samson and Mark Hateley in Vancuver,Canada.Gordon Strachen stopped to applaud my fancy dress,last home game for terracing at Leeds.And I kept Alf Ramsey awake with snoring,next room to me in Yugoslavia,so he told me next morning,when I bumped into him.

 

Her indoors used to be a costume designer on the movies worked on some famous films but cutting that short her friend still lives in America and still does big movies as a casting director and has promised me next time I go to the States she will give me a part in a movie

My best mate at school's big brother, Brian Whittaker (RIP) used to play for Partick Thistle. I got invited to his engagement party & was thrilled to bits to be sitting at the players table. Problem is, I can't remember a thing about it. Got really pissed trying to keep up with them. If only we had mobile phones then.

A mate I last saw nearly 40 years ago, Craig Fergusson, went on to be a comedian, then writer, movie actor & US tv talk show host. He recently packed it after donkeys years of success, & James Corden took over. In his absence, I fell out with him as one of my pinups at the time was Fiona Fullerton. He only lived with her for a while then dumped her, the barsteward! I resolved never to speak to him again after that. How could he????
