Yes, I read this too and at the time I thought of Saints tendency to win 3-1. Tbh, given our history in the last 7 years with 3-1 someone would probably get better odds with 2-1.
Being reported that Ricky Lambert has been carried off with a serious knee injury, fingers crossed it ain't too bad.
From BBC Wales: Striker Ricky Lambert came off in the first half after receiving a bad cut to his shin. Warnock said he feared Lambert might be out for a while, but was awaiting further tests on the 34-year-old former England international. "It looked horrific. I didn't want the lads to look at it at half-time," the Bluebirds boss said.
Just a flesh wound, nothing internal busted, so hopefully he will be back soon. Here's a video of him trying to score from kick off from the week before:
More on Ricky's injury: He was taken to hospital in Nottingham and required a number of stitches. "I don't know how cuts heal but it looked horrific," said Cardiff manager Neil Warnock. "I had to get one or two of the lads out - I didn't want them looking at it at half-time in a game like that. "The cut is that deep they're just worried about whether there's any ligament damage because it's severed right through to his shin. It's terrible."
Shelvey's always been a bit of a gobby twat... wonder what punishment he'll get and if it will come to light what he said
