having watched at least 2 Championship games this season I think I can say with some authority that all 3 promoted teams will be going back down. With the fact that the top premiership teams aren't actually very good and Alli, Kane, Alderweirald, Sanchez, Aguero, Hazard and Konte will be off to Spain I think 4th spot is nailed on for Saints
Was thinking of who I want promoted from the playoffs and came up with this order (favourite to least favourite) Sheff wed - new team to play Huddersfield - newish team and also loved the matches in league one. Fulham - my mate supports them Reading - booooooooring Leeds - we all hate Leeds.
Don't think Leeds will make play offs so am rooting firmly for Weds. Just please not Reading. Btw why are Sheff Weds new & Hudders only newish?
Was just thinking that actually. We've played sheff wed more recently so probably should be switched.
We played Sheff Wednesday in the EFL cup however in our first season back in the Prem. Won 2-0 with two goals from Jay. Can understand why it would be forgotten though.
Well remembered! Always liked Weds for some reason. Reminds me of being a kid in the 90s and them always being in the sticker books. Would fancy a trip up there too.
I still have my shootout cards. Love looking back at them and yeah I just like having a new place to go again. Was genuinely annoyed when hull win the playoffs last yeah. I mean fair play to them but it was a bit boring.
When I were a kid all the top flight teams had 2 pages with all the players, the manager and the badge . Then there were 2 pages at the back where all the 2nd flight had a team photo sticker. So Pompey used to have 1 sticker in the album.
Yes, a good win for them, puts pressure on Gillingham on Sunday. Have quite a few mates who support the gills. The irony is their final game is away to Northampton. Northampton are managed by Justin Edinburgh. Justin Edinburgh was sacked by Gillingham a few months ago
Micheal Brown manages Vale. Don't like him at all. But, its all made for a last day blitz. Would not be surprised to see Bury go.
Leyton Orient fan writes a love letter to his beloved 'O's. I put it here in the Football league thread because it's probably the last time anyone will write of Leyton Orient as an EFL club: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football...ent-grandad-said-never-kid-never-should-have/ Worth reading.
