    As he is likely to face us in a couple of weeks when West Ham come to St Mary's, thought to pass the time I'd see what people's reactions will be? Seems to be a few mixed opinions about his departure so far.

    Clap from me too. What ever happened behind the scenes this season or his personal ambitions post Euros is a mere blip compared to the other 7 years.

    At the very least, respect. You can't throw out the past years without gratitude. Some fans make us look bad with their taunts....I can shrug and accept when directed at players like Lovren who jumped ship when it suited him, but totally wrong when directed at Jose. A chance to show people what good fans we can be. Applause when he first appears....but then he is one of the opposition once the whistle blows.

    There's one plus this one? Or have I missed something? At least this might start discussion that is different to trying to work out if the club or Fonte or both are in the wrong.

    Jose Fonte who's he.......? While I'm grateful for his contribution to the club.......he no longer is a Saint. His decision so no,no reaction from me.

    One not needed yet. He's gone and him coming back in two weeks time is nowhere need as important as tomorrow, Wednesday or Swansea. After them that game take son significance.

    Sorry, just expressed my view. This could drag on to a fever pitch and if people really want to discuss it, it could have been discussed in the existing Fonte thread. That's all I'm saying.

    Just not acknowldege him. No6 is not on the field anymore. I'll clap No3 instead. Maybe the vacant No6 will be filled in the next week or 2? I will applaud No6 again then. They may as well get rid of the names on the back of the shirts too. Who needs to know who it is? The club badge is on the front.
