I think it's "The Youngster", not "The Yellow"

You are, of course, correct! Yellow is "Jaune".

Everything about him sounds right. Good in the air, good with his feet, at 26 coming into his peak years. We shall see. Should certainly be a step up on Hanley and it will be interesting to see if we move to a 3 with Mbemba and Lascelles. Certainly I think Yedlin could then cope with PL football as a wing back. We would of course need to sign something down the left as I don't think Atsu could do that role??

He may just replace Mbemba or Lascelles of course. I'm looking forward to seeing him in action. Certainly he played a big part in getting Eibar into the top half which was one of the stories of the La Liga season (crowds of about 4K and normally only get free transfers)

What about Clark??? Easily our best defender last year and the one with the most Prem experience, surely he's the first defender on the team sheet?

Nice to be getting players in at last. Hopefully he's actually decent.

I think he got a free ride personally. Made loads of mistakes in the 2nd half of the season but people only seemed interested in slating Lascelles. I still think he is a good option. First two names on my team sheet in a 442 would be this guy and Mbemba. I'd probably go with Clark in a 3 because you get the balance of his left peg.

Personal preference I suppose. I think Clark and Lejeune would be Rafa's picks.

I think Dummett could excel in a three at the back. It's nearer his natural position than left back. Clark would be a decent option too though.

Got to say I like what I'm reading about this guy and the stats above look good although he probably had a fair more amount defending to do than the other lads in the line up.

Nobody outside of Sunderland, and not even everyone inside, would agree with that load of bollocks.

Yeah, I'd have been sitting on the fence if he'd just said Colback.
