I sent the obligatory "WFH" email. It's got to the stage where I just stick "WFH" in the subject field & that's it.

**** sake. Our friends in Canada will be under about five feet of it and they survive every year.
An inch of snow (if that) and the media in this country goes into meltdown. What utter bollox.

My life is WFH. I was disappointed that I couldn't send a 'Snowed in' e mail this morning.

Do people still look to mainstream media as a source of information.
People down the local Weatherspoons at 8am know more about what is going on.

Its been a huge let down after a massive build up.

Luckily Im experienced in that sort of thing being a mighty Tigers fan.

Seen absolutely **** all snow, apart from a light dusting in Hertfordshire from comfort of me seat on the train, and a brief flurry in London today.

Wasn't even ****ing icy at 6am when I drove to the station ffs.

Aye, but high tide has now passed and that was the highest it got.

    Disaster averted.

I do understand the more than needed reactions to the potential for flooding, thats deffo a case of better safe than sorry. Some areas have still been hit hard.
