One half of your family will be happy then but which half? ............ unless it's a draw in which case all the family will be happy
A couple of interesting articles from Danny Higginbotham here; Stoke and Pulis were victims of their own success http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2014/jan/17/danny-higginbotham-stoke-tony-pulis-palace Potters v Tony Pulis will be like old Stoke vs new Stoke http://www.stokesentinel.co.uk/Dann...ke-old-Stoke/story-20456082-detail/story.html There's some overlap between the two, but worth giving both a read I think. It's nice to hear some more balanced stories from behind the scenes, and who'd have thought Higgy would turn out to be such an articulate writer? I've seen him doing some analysis on SSN, and was impressed with him. He's certainly more competent than the likes of Savage, and he doesn't seem to have a big club bias. Plus as an ex-stokie, he will always gain my support
It seems Bego is back in the mix and is being considered for a return for the Chelsea game. Do you think he should be selected? Personally I would keep Butland in goal against Chelsea and play Bego in the 6-pointer league game against Sunderland next Wednesday. He has been missed and we need him back (same with Huth) asap.
@stokecity: #scfc Starting XI vs Sunderland: Begovic; Cameron, Shawcross (c), Wilson, Pieters; Odemwingie, Nzonzi, Adam, Whelan, Assaidi; Crouch 2-0 us I think?
Come on you mighty Potters!! Any sort of result will do me. Still surprised that Guidetti isn't a starter though
Odemwingie is looking like a good player, but Mannone is his and our whole team's equal... Plus what is Hughes doing? Walters for Crouch and Arny for Assaidi What about Guidetti?
Is Hughes dliberately trying to take us down? What is going on? Waltersand Arnautovic on as subs? WHERE THE F__K is Giudetti? He`s worse than Pulis with his subs-------------- Hughes OUT!!!!!!!!
Have you calmed down yet mate? I know I haven't. Still fuming at those subs more than anything why??? Oh well, easy game on Saturday Home to Utd
I only saw the last 25 minutes, and in that, we were all over Sunderland, it looked like them who only had 10 men. During all of that, I was thinking, "why the **** is Guidetti on yet?" Having not seen much of the match, I can't comment too much on the first 2 subs, I didn't see how the game was going when they were made. I can understand the reasoning behind bringing Walters on, being a man down, we needed someone who'd work hard and make things difficult for Sunderland, but in that last 20 minutes we were screaming out for someone who could take one of the chances we were making, and Hughes leaves it until 4 minutes to go, and then takes off the only other player who looks like scoring off!
