Away to Newcastle this week, who seem to be having an upturn in fortunes of recent, I'd take a draw for this fixture any time so i'll punt for a 1-1, what do you lot think?

Yeh, all things given I would be happy with a point, but most of all I would like a clean sheet!

I would take a draw today. With ShawX and Bojan I was confident we could get the 3 pts but without them it will be a difficult game. Add to that the fact that we rarely do that well at SJP a point would be a good result.

Man City at home Wednesday - nothing like a midweek night game to get the Brit stoked! Thoughts?

There form isn't great at the moment - only 1 win in their last 6 but on the flip side only 1 loss in their last 10. We have a great little run going aswell with only 2 losses in the last 10, Chelski at home and the Arsess away both pretty clear cut results to be fair. Our home form has been better (if not convincing) 10 points out of the last five games with that single loss to the league leaders.

Ah well, watched it on a (foreign) stream and I didn't think we played that badly!!!!
First half, we were the better team, then along comes Sergio...game over.

I still wish we had the Shawcross / Huth partnership at the back <steam>

I don't think it helped having people out injured, you need your best players, playing to the top of there game to get anything out of these fixtures.

Just watched the highlights and we were excellent first half and should have had a penalty for hand ball. Got back into the game quickly with the equaliser and deserved to be level at the break. It all changed second half and a combination of some poor defending and class from the opposition took the game away from us. I think the score was harsh but we move on. Injuries are not helping us.
