I never knew about the steam rollers comment. What's he actually been arrested for? It's in bad taste, of course, but he hasn't actually incited anything its just a **** attempt at getting a few likes on social media.

On the bbc site that a man has been tasered near a London mosque last night for waving an "item" around. Turns out to be a shoehorn - the world has gone crazy

 

A man has been arrested on suspicion of posting an offensive Facebook post about the London Finsbury Park attack.

Police said a 37-year-old, believed to be the son of an owner of the Rhondda Cynon Taff company whose van was used in Monday's attack, is in custody.

Richard Evans allegedly posted: "It's a shame they don't hire out steam rollers or tanks could have done a tidy job then."

His father, Lee Evans, said he condemned the remarks.

South Wales Police said a 37-year-old man was being held on suspicion of displaying threatening, abusive, insulting written material with intent that is likely to stir up racial hatred.

 

Yet they are allowed to do this

Anyone can do that though, about anything. All the law requires is that you give the police notice of your intention and you can march about anything you like.

Had they not given notice on their march it probably would be, but as it's a protest march they'll be covered by the Protection of freedom of expression which is part of the Racial and Religious Hatred Act. Works both ways though, it's why the EDL can come out with some of the **** they come out with and get away with it. Both need to shut the **** up imo but the law entitles them to march for their cause. Go lone wolf and shout your mouth off and you don't have a leg to stand on.

If your cause is to incite hatred, that's against the law and shouldn't be allowed to happen, no matter how much notice they give. The law is the law.
