Merry Friggin Christmas Die Hard The Last Crusade Were the three showings at work today. I had a bit on so missed a couple. We had to take Bad Santa off yesterday, somebody didn't approve.
Just got back from it. I thought it was absolutely brilliant. Force Awakens was a bit underwhelming for me but this one was incredible.
I loved TFA but this blows it out of the water. Absolutely great. I really need to watch A New Hope again now, considering how this one ended
Rogue one - 8/10 great movie and quite capable of standing on its own in the genre , in the context of SW it's pretty damn epic. Life on the road - 7/10The office - the movie , a really good movie ,very funny with a touch of Pathos "Extras" style Sausage party - 3/10 arrrgh it's so predictable and pointlessly adult , yes it's a movie about sausage ,bun and sauce jokes zzzzzzzzzzz poor
First day in this week, just gone half 10 & we've done Die Hard 2. Meeting & cakes at 11 then another film through dinner. Hard life.
Me the my two lads are off this afty, looking forward to it. Bite to eat afterwards. Just watched The Jungle Book, it's ok for a Thursday morning in the brew room movie. London Has Fallen next.
I haven't seen the jungle book I'll give it a try but not with my grand kids their attention span is measured in seconds ha ha
Just watched Captain Philips. **** me what a captivating brilliant film. Also reinforces my belief that Tom Hanks is the greatest actor ever.
The greatest actor ever? Now, I've had a few bottles of Black Sheep, one or two Strong Suffolk dark ales AND the last of my Spiced Morgans but I definitely want a glass of what you've had if Tom Hanks is the greatest actor ever
I like Tom Hanks, he was chatting to customers in Lincoln M&S during the shooting of the Da Vinci Code when my Mrs was shopping there - I'm afraid to say, any great part he's played is negated by Forrest ****in' Gump ..... I'm working on the drunkard bit
We've done a couple tonight. Girl on the Rail Replacement Service. The British version of Girl on a Train it was OK. Just in the middle of Inferno, glad I read the book a while back.
Just watched Anne of the Thousand Days. I didn't realize Genevieve Bujold was so hot when when she was younger. I also never thought anyone had topped Robert Shaw's portrayal of Henry VIII (A Man for All Seasons), but Richard Burton was masterful.
Watched Sing Street tonight, recommended by Ben I think, definitely a decent film. I followed that with Arrival, bit weird and not so good. I also managed to download Kodi onto my Amazon Firestick, watched both movies through that, I'd highly recommend it to anyone that has a Firestick, the quality is amazing and the choice of movies, series and sports is literally mind blowing!
