FIFA is listening

Every now and again I try to bring a thread on scandals and rumours from the Gruniard's Said and Done section. This time I'm bringing a one article one comment special edition.

After years of petitioning, lobbying and allegedly bribing Obi's one man campaign has eventually bourne fruit.

"Fifa.com – offering new Obese Person Tickets based on body mass index for “easy access extra-width seats” at June’s Confederations Cup in Russia. Tournament sponsors: Budweiser and McDonalds."

I think congratulations are in order for Obi who single handedly (well his other one was holding his food) succeeded where others have failed.

 

They will even drive me to the stadium and lower me into place without me even having to leave my seat. It's badically like one of those trucks that drops off and picks up hire skips.

 

Obi prefers to be winched in place.

 

So stadium capacity will vary according to the teams playing:
Japan vs South Korea 50000
USA vs England 22000

 

Sounds like these will be in a particular area of the stadium grouping them all together. Having been to a few England World Cup Games where most of the chanting is borderline inflammatory I can just imagine the abuse aimed at the fat secion.
