One of the few I get on with and has always been fair with me. There's a mutual respect there, I think.

I used to be like that, mate. I've been on the receiving end of corruption with Northumbria Police and it wasn't nice at all. One example is, one time they were executing a search warrant on my home about 5 years ago, looking for drugs, money and weapons. All they found was a few grams of weed and hydroponic equipment in a bedroom (no plants). Clearly they were pissed that they didn't find what they were hoping for. I was asked about the hydroponic equipment and I said I was simply keeping it for somebody, at that point the copper pointed at my lass and 2 year old little girl and said if I didn't start confessing, she was also getting locked up and the bairn took into care. I then 'admitted' to having the equipment to cultivate cannabis and that was that, they had me on something. Complete ****s.

The Durham lot seem pretty much the same but I've met a couple who have been sound so now I judge them individually and not as one.

Any dealings I've had through them in the past, admittedly through my own youthful silliness, I found them to be ****s who use their uniform as an excuse to bully people.

No better than bouncers in my eyes.

There was a Military Policeman I got on well with.
Huge ****ing bloke, would have made Arnie look like a spelk.
Threw me in the klink once or twice for being an arsehole in the Aldershot pubs but he was a good man.
I still get a Christmas card off him every year.
