I think it's my number 1 place to visit and I hope I am lucky enough to go there one day. I am fascinated by the country and it's people. I think my top 5 are Japan, Singapore, Peru, Argentina, Chile. Out of interest, where do you live in Glasgow? I appreciate you may not want to say, so no problem if you don't.
You're right there, but I always had reservations when the Allam's came in, I have visited Egypt over my working life more than 250 times, and I said this will not end well from the beginning. Stewart Milne has a local mentality, unfortunately the Allam's have an Egypt one, and that is the problem.
exactly the same, japan and singapore, especially as a big f1 fan myself, would be amazing to visit and i live in hull, from the drumchapel area though
I have done Monaco, Silverstone (10 time) and Spa, I was in Shanghai last week when the GP was on there but couldn't make it.
what do you do if you don't mind me asking a friend of my friend plays for nice on loan from juventus and it's a different world, i tell thee
Oh I see, I always thought it was the other way around, not sure why. I know the area a bit, I used to work on the Clydebank business park.
my good friend works for clydesdale bank in that very place, i really am affectionate for the balloch area though
Excuse my ignorance, but is that the Loch Lomond Balloch? If so we used to have family holidays there, and enjoyed it also.
I'm semi retired now, but I worked in Seafood all my working life, hence why I moved to Aberdeen when the fishing industry in Hull more or less disappeared,
Yes, I know the building well, used to walk past every lunchtime, I worked for Stena at the back of the park. Balloch is lovely, I have a couple of friends over that way. Much nicer than my area, which is really going to the dogs these days.
aberdeen is thriving at the moment, i've never actually been, it always suprises me just how far up north aberdeen is, it's closer to norway than it is to london
Now you've opened up another can of worms, I could live off seafood happily! lol Scallops, lobster, mussels, prawns.......
Yes it's a lovely place, we took a caravan there for our 2 weeks holiday on and off for a few years, My Dad had an only army friend from the war who lived near the Glen of Luss, and it was sort of a holiday come reunion for him.
It's been a while since I have driven up, but I remember the road was a nightmare for much of the way
luss is where i 'planned' to retire when i was younger, the cottages are like something akin to lord of the rings shire, it's an amazing place
This is one of the dishes I had last night here in Tokyo, and idea which type of seafood it comes from?
I'm not a big fan, my sister went to uni there and loved it. I prefer the rawness of Glasgow if that makes any sense. Having said that, we went to the Edinburgh Christmas market and it was a million times better than Glasgow's.
