These maybe just rumours but they aren't going away so maybe there is some substance to them! http://www.twtd.co.uk/ipswich-town-news/31631/steijn-im-on-list-of-possible-new-ipswich-bosses The question is does Evans have the Balls to get rid of Mick in the Summer?
I hope he has the balls however I would have thought he would have got rid of Mick already if he was going to. Don't know much about this guy but sounds interesting if abit left field. Hopefully being Dutch he would play football in the right way which given the fact we are trying to bring a lot of players through from the academy makes sense. As at the moment we have some talented youngsters who are schooled in the right way get into the team and have no influence because the game passes them by as the first team don't play the same way as they are used to!!
I think that was rubbished as being some pillock who thought it would be funny to start a rumour The manager link is one that has been going on for a couple of months now, which seems to have cropped up again after telling an interviewer he was 'on the list' for potential next manager for Ipswich and saying he was "open to a departure" from his current club. I can't see this happening, but it will be an interesting couple of weeks as we need to have an announcement from ME (through IM, no doubt) in the next week or so as to what will be happening with the manager role
There's a strong rumour that he was seen outside the Wickes DIY Store in Ipswich with 2 Five Gallon Cans of Blue Gloss Paint..
We will spend the Summer doing some major rebuilding according to his mouth piece Milne! That'll be an extra Hot Dog stand outside the Cobbold Stand then!
We'll sell Bart for £5million (which some will see as good business for us) "reinvest" £50 grand on an unknown keeper from Austria or somewhere, whose usp is the strength of his punts up field
I've long ago given up caring about any fees received for players as it make no difference to the fans it's not reinvested, at best its swallowed up at worst its pocketed.
Best part of the day.......not like the youth of today that lay in bed all day playing with their playboxes.
A no from me, I wouldn't be interested in any overseas manager as in who has never managed in England before. Nationality irrelevant! If Mick were to go I'd like to see Daryl Clark of Bristol Rovers given the go. However, appears he's likely to stay so we need to make sure the mistakes of this season aren't repeated - the biggest being Murphy going then hope Leon Best turns it on....
