Is it too early to start thinking about this? I'd be keen to see the away fans going as Samurai, in honour of Maya. No swords, obviously, but maybe a bandanna with the Japanese "Rising Sun" emblem. Those that could source a Samurai outfit, would be more than welcome.
I vote berets, stripey tops and onions in honour of Monsieur Puel... please log in to view this image
The problem with French clothes:- 1. The beret would have to be a Kangol for me to want to wear it. 2. The sizes are generally too small and I would not want anything XXL in my wardrobe.
I think everyone should copy Puel's strange finger rubbing behaviour....the resulting low hum would certainly disconcert the opposition.
Might add an extra air of excitement as we finish in 9th. Can't complain too much but the last 2 seasons have had very exciting run ins due to euro qualification.
How soon we forget....how long ago was that Cup Final? Though I get your point...fans should wear clothes appropriate to their mood. A bunch of Grim Reapers separated by groups of fans dressed as flowers and butterflies. My mood: a mildly depressed daffodil.* *With apologies to Helen if that is cultural appropriation.
How many tam o' shanters and ginger wigs have people still got lying around.? People could wear them just because.
Obviously fans should show their affection for M. Puel by wearing berets and hooped shirts and carrying strings of onions, which is, as everyone knows, the dress of choice for all French people.
