A little known fact - the team jogged to the match! Manager Jean Tigana ordered the players off the team bus when they were stuck in a traffic jam with less than an hour before the game at Sellhurst Park. Lee Clark said at the time, "We were struggling to get here and we all got off the bus to run for the last mile or so. We won, but I hope we don't have to do that every week."
