Watching the Middlesbrough v Liverpool game, I couldn't help but notice that Fabio was out of position for the three goals conceded, and nearly one off the post. He was the same with us pals.....I tell you! Aber, how you pal....Merry Christmas!
I always complained about how much of a liability he was defensively. His last 6 months or so with us were his best but we did very well to get the money we did for him. Plenty of defenders struggle against a superb Liverpool attack but his rash style combined with his total lack positional awareness is a recipe for disaster against such a slick pass and move outfit. Good luck to him, he always gave 100% for us and was a good championship player most of the time, I was surprised a defensive coach like Karanka bought him tbh.
