Well Kone's team are usually there or thereabouts in the Finals, Khazri's team are looking good for progressing past the groups and N'Dong's team who are the hosts, will probably be finished on Sunday.
Is it a good thing because he won't get injured, or is it a bad thing because it's a kick in the bollocks?
I have only seen the second half of Tunisia against Senegal so far, just to watch Khazri, he was as erratic as ever, but the attacking play of both teams was great to watch, maybe we should have taken our whole team up to Craster and entered them into this competition to avoid Burnley. The Craster joke is a reference to an old Scouse one, and politically incorrect, but no offence to anyone other than Seafaring Geordies intended.
I'm no longer that bothered by Kone going. He's cut from the same cloth as Thome and Huth. Good stoppers and very reliable, but not a footballer in the way that Jagielka has been (don't know what he's got left, mind). Much more depressed if we lose Borini TBH. He's young and we know he can perform given more than the scraps he's been getting lately...
Not to impressed However short term and we need centre halfs If he can help shore up at the back and keep us up Welll why not
only good point going he has experience, whether he uses it for the benefit of Diji is another matter, hope if he does sign he gets his arse into gear
It was supposed to be a bit of a joke Tel. When you said Kone hadn't been playing I compared how he was playing for us under Sam to how he is playing for us now, The 'he's not been playing' line of yours could have meant he was poor when 'playing' for us and nothing to do with the African cup. Crap attempt at a joke, sorry.
Yeah, I got the joke. I 'liked' it mate. I just had another question... you know, keep the fire burning on here.
Gabon could well drop out at group stage. Tunisia look like they're going through anfter Khazri had a good game. Ivory coast currently 1-0 down 15 minutes in. Groups as they stand with the Ivory Coast game going on
Before we signed him he was never a clinical striker at Liverpool and while here on loan most of his goals were penalties. But his energy snd attitude are first class . His injuries have also stalled his game. We move on.
So supposing Ivory Coast get beat we need Togo to beat Morocco then even if Ivory Coast win there last game they may not go through.
