I remember a Forest FA Cup trip in the 70's (we drew I think) and the trouble after with a few taking inadvertent 'falls' into the Trent!
We could do with a decent cup run (winning it would be good!) and I would like to see a strong side tomorrow but I do expect some changes something along these lines for me; Vorm, Trippier, Davies, Alderweireld, Wimmer, Dier, Winks, Sissoko, Son, Eriksen and Jansen, Subs Lloris, Walker, CCV, N'Koudou, Onomah, Dele, Kane
Dreamt about our line up last night. To the best of my knowledge it was as follows: Vorm Trippier Toby Wimmer Davies Dier Winks Sissoko Alli GKN Janssen The second part of my dream was Poch telling me that Madrid had agreed to a swap deal between Onomah and Isco, so I'm treating that line up as seriously as I treat West Ham. Oh, and I'm afraid to report that he hadn't shaved in a good week and was wearing a tracksuit even the most ardent scouset would be proud of.
Well that's a headline that grabs attention, although I'm not sure if it's in the way they intended...
Whenever we play Villa it takes me back to the days when the M1 opened in 1959 or 60 I think. My boyfriend had a BSA 650 motorbike, with faring, (cool stuff) & he couldn't wait to try the new road so off we went one evening after work & before long were whizzing up this wonderful new road. After what seemed a short time he shouted 'we're doing the ton'. Anyway, the long & the short of it was we got to Birmingham in one hour & that was from home! So from then on Villa Park became like a local away fixture. The difference in traveling time was huge but the traffic was nothing like the volume it is now. Happy days. COYS
Wha no Kane, Dembele, Lloris, Rose, Walker, Lamela, etc. How long before the Hacks start saying we don't want to get them cup_tied.
GKN has surely become the butt of some kind of cosmic joke: surely this was going to be a fixture where he made the starting xi...and then we play 352 instead, dumping him on the bench
