Love Roy Keane's honesty, so refreshing in such a fake world of football. He's spot on there too. Pathetic behaviour from a manager, really odd.
I wouldnt go that far. Football is very fickle and I've been a supporter long enough to know if he brings success he'll be defended to the hilt. Chelsea fans are prime examples of that when it comes to Mourinho. But so is every clubs' fans tbf. What I will say is what I said at the start of the season. This was a man who coveted the United job openly. He considered it his dream job. Now I don't know about anyone else, but with a record like his if I got my dream job I'd go in with my balls out, absolutely buzzing and creating as much energy around the place with my excitement and enthusiasm. Instead from the very beginning he's been dour and lacking in enthusiasm or any sort of buzz. Very strange.
Honestly the only thing I'm disappointed by is what I said ain my previous post. I wish he'd show he loves the job, that he absolutely revels in it and enjoys every waking minute of the challenge of managing the club. I couldnt give a **** about the rest of the crap he comes out with like the bollox he spouts about Pogba etc. Sky, Mourinho isnt helping himself with some of the things he says BUT it's also obvious the media hate him now. 12 years ago he was spouting the same **** and the media loved him. Now they hate him so whatever he says and does they will turn it into something controversial, which those who who hate Jose and/or United will snowball out of proportion. Each and every thing he says gets compounded so he's actually made to sound worse. He's no better or worse than any other imo. The ONLY difference is success or failure.
To be fair, I think he realised quite soon after taking over just how bad things had got under LVG. Turning all that around - and I don't just mean the playing side of things - takes a massive amount of energy, commitment and time - I'm, not surprised he looks knackered all the time. I also think that another big part of it was the fact that he knew he would turn it around, he wanted to get some players in to help things along - but he didn't want to go all out and raise expectations for this first season. The style of play has improved, the results are starting to come and we might yet end the season having qualified for the CL - that and some silverware would seem a fair return given how bad we were to begin with. Next season, though, I expect us to challenge from the off. He seems to know who he wants to bring in to strengthen the side, hopefully we can get a better pre-season than the crap-fest in the Far East this year, hopefully he can persuade his missus to move up to Manchester so he can get his end away more regularly which might make him less of a miserable f**k sometimes.
Poor fat old middle-aged skinhead chavbus fan @armchairblue cant handle the fact his club's greatest ever manager never loved his club and always coveted managing United
Tbh i'm over the moon with conte, best thing to happen to us since jose first time round. I do however think jose will bring you sucess, unless his emotions get the better of him.
Conte is doing just the same as Jose, he is helping to launder the gangster's money in order to build a decent CV before getting his dream job. Conte will be off back to Italy before you know it.
I have to agree I find his demeanour and attitude totally mystifying. What the **** is wrong with him>
