Surely the league cup is not considered success at United now?! Wow, how the standards have dropped post Fergie. Did Moyes and LVG ruin your expectations that much?

You have the self proclaimed special one and the worlds most expensive haircut, surely sights should be a little higher than the back up competitions you used to slate Liverpool for getting excited over?

The season isn't over yet. It's a start, surely? Better to win it than not.

I'm sure the FA cup will attain some sort of mega importance now we're out of it and there are four very good sides in the semis but the league cup is still worth winning.

That and the fact the season isn't over and there is still the EL to play for and also attaining champions league next season by another outlet.

It could turn out to be a decent season when you consider this is really one of consolidation.

I also don't recall Chelsea supporters complaining much when Mourinho won the league cup in both of his first seasons with you.

Admittedly we will not go on to win the league as well but that comp is a good springboard to success.

When we won the league cup in 2006 we hadn't won the PL for a couple of season and we're supposedly in terminal decline, given Chelsea were going to dominate forever.

It didn't seem much at the time but we won the league three years in a row following that, plus a champions league with another final or two.

    It's worth winning, trust me.

All trophies are considered a success. That's how BIG clubs are built. If you observed anything about United's success (granted it overshadows Chelsea's by a long way) you'd know we set our greatness, and our sights higher, by first winning those trophies you choose to right off. Ofcourse I don't expect you to understand having only a 10 year history, if you weren't in for the league this season, you would've disappeared like last season. <ok>

I understand the outrage by non Chelsea fans over the abuse of Jose. As you say, he is our most successful manager, and he will always have that in credit with me.
However, I don't recall Fergie, Cloughie, and Shankly constantly having digs at their old clubs. Jose cannot do that and expect a hero's welcome. Loyalty works both ways.

True, but then SAF, Clough and Shankly weren't fired by their old clubs either. Twice.

Hard to expect him to be loyal after he's been treated like that tbh.

Fair shout but he can't have it both ways. The fans were actually on his side at the time, and the players got dog's abuse.

Aye but the owner wasn't on his side. The club isn't just the fans, particularly at Chelsea where the owner does whatever he wants and cares nowt about anyone else.

Whatever happened, we're better off without him. None of the nonsense he brings with him. He's started it already with you.lot. We have enemies and refs don't like us. I don't miss it tbh. Some are saying that the fans turned against him, which is crap.

Deep down I don't think any Utd fan particularly likes Jose. How could you really? He's an absolute prize bellend.

He's not anywhere near as good as he once was, all this ego nonsense has ruined him, imo. He's actually quite embarrassing to watch.

    Yeah, so do I.

He's at a club who won a treble with a squad no where near the size he currently has.

Get on with it for **** sake.
