A solid win at Bournemouth in the end. A fairly toothless first half showing, with some good football but lacking penetration and pace in the final third, together with even a half decent final ball. Robles did brilliantly with the penalty - oh what a difference it makes actually playing with a goal keeper, as opposed to some fella who jumps out the way of everything on target and makes a howler per game Second half we were much better and barring a 5 minute spell mid half, looked comfortable. The 2nd goal killed them and so onwards we march. One game from a Wembley visit chaps..... The draw is at 6 tonight, who do we fancy????
I'm quite happy with the draw tbh. I know our home form has been ****, but a cup qf at Goodison will be a different matter, the place will be rocking. I'd rather play them now at Goodison than at Wembley, so bring it on. They've got PSG a few days prior btw. If they get a shoeing then their heads will in their boots. They're an average side this season.
