He's certainly right about his ability and also spot on about what needs to be added to his game. One thing that worries me however is what he said about the system fitting around Taarabt and not the other way around. That worked perfectly well in the 2nd tier but it won't at the top. Other teams will snuff him out of the game and we'll be left clutching at straws.

At the start of the season Warnock said that such an approach wouldn't work in the Prem. Indeed that was the reason Harry Redknapp gave for selling the lad to us in the first place. If we're going to survive we'll need 11 players on the pitch that work hard for the team and pass the ball when required. Show boating won't hold at that level. I just hope we get a solid team structure that Tarb complements rather than vice versa.

    Totally agree Swords.

The magnificent eleven done us proud this season but there needs to be a complete overhaul now.

First time we went up, there were few team changes and we managed just 3 wins and 12 draws before immediate relegation. It was horrible. Never want to go through that again.

Adel is a maverick. We've had those before - just usually wearing the traditional (for us) shirt number. Fantastic to watch when he's on song and totally frustrating when he's not interested. That's not news to any of us here. My worry is how easily he was shut out by Robbie Savage (twice). The team can't build completely around him any more because he will get rumbled and neutralised by many more players next year. He'll need to add to his game and the team will need a Plan B for when he's not being effective (but is taking up the other teams resources to keep him that way).
