I was just about to use that word, typical. It seems like the world's against us but the thing is its not. David Moyes will go down as Ellis Short's worst decision and the fact he wanted him for so long highlights his own poor footballing judgement. I'll admit he won me over a little bit but not for long as normal service has well and truly resumed. His tactics seem nonexistent, his selections are constantly questionable and his man management appears to be quite rubbish. This was always going to be a hard job for him but in my opinion he's made it much harder for himself. The Khazri and Januzaj situations are evidence of this. He's stuck with his Belgian love child all season whilst a proven first teamer has been cast aside. Now forget the impact that's had on the team think about the fact Moyes has moaned about having no money but is willing to effectively waste about 30k a week and not even give the lad a chance?! Did he shag Mrs Moyes in pre season?
Got mixed feelings about this one. Yes we could have go a draw. But, there again, we didn't capitulate. Actually looked like we had some fight about us, especially in the second half. And, as well, Everton are a decent team
We are going down with a wimper, (called Moyes ), the pre-season window was a shambles, and the January one a ******* joke this lot are shot. We cant hide behind the injury list excuse, this squad is just not up to it. Rant over.
GARBAGE again, frigging bonding makes no difference with this shower. PVA scores the winner for Palace what a joke.
I would of done a rant years ago but no point pal. You right by the way and you forgot to add over 30m on rubbish.
We did well enough and but for lost possession that led to their second, deflected, goal we were in with a shout as Everton did not look much better than us. Nobody did anything wrong, but not a lot went right for us as the second goal showed.
No we are not as we matched them for effort. For all there was fifteen or so places between the two teams they looked no better than we did. We played the usual tactical game of counter-attack and came so close to equalising. It will be interesting to see if Lukaku's goal is actually awarded as o.g. by Oviedo as he diverted away from Pickford.
That just makes it worse imo, the fact that we still have a chance, but the players do not look good enough to take it, we live in hope and pray for a change of fortune, five lucky wins should do it.
Decent game but we were by far the better side. On that showing you're not good enough to survive imo
Agreed, not sure what game some of the above were watching. We cannot do the basics and we have very very little quality aside from Defoe.
You won with easy really. We had one chance and that was it. You can have moyes back if you want. The man is a dead beat.
