We need leaders all over the pitch when our team conceed, Austin was good at keeping the players heads up.

I'm sure that this has been discussed before but why is Eric black our assistant manager? Doesn't the manager usually bring his own?

 

Think I read somewhere that Puel knew him from his playing days in France?

 

It was the combination of Blacks knowledge of the Premier League, which is known to be comprehensive, plus being fluent in French for liaison purposes.

 

Hmmm. Ok piece, but rather a lot of supposition. Also, there seems to be the assumption that unless we do at least as well as last season every year that we have stalled. I was expecting to pause for breath at some point given all the changes forced on the club. Longer term, I see the same basic plan that we have always had. I have to agree about the lack of goals making our games less easy on the eye, mind.

 

If it agrees with what I think, I'll give it a miss as it is I don't want to ruin the rest of the day.

I just didn't understand what the final warning was for. They took it from some of us after our win at st marys and are bang within their rights to give a little back. Nothing they wrote was so bad to deserve the warning imo.

Did you read the thread linked that SA posted on their board? Of course some* are going to give it back...

*I say some though there's only 3 Everton fans on this site so we had nearly full house
