Hopefully Jose doesn't revert back to his league team and drop Rooney, Mkhi and Shaw. I'd as soon he doesn't drop Carrick either but assume he will to bring Pogba back in.

I'm inclined to agree with Swarbs here, play Rooney at centre forward and give Zlat a 'rest'.

Subs would be;

Perhaps even Schneiderlin.

Again, that team would dick Everton, bar the inevitable slip up at centre half at some point.

The interesting fact is that the above is actually unlikely to be the actual team and I fully expect, with a heavy heart, Darmian, Fellaini and Lingard to feature in the first team.

Possibly but what we need right now is some consistency.

Rooney being suspended means Mata should come in to replace him. The only other possible/probable change is Pogba for Carrick, or at least should be.

The Grock, Pogba and Zlatan from set plays isn't something I'm looking forward to witnessing..

Can't help thinking Mourinho's ****ed up again with the line up. No Rooney can't be helped, but Pogba at AM is not working atm.

 

That is overly critical, Treble. I think the lineup is very balanced, apart from the fact that Mata is not in.

 

Exactly!! Mata has to play. I think it had to be Carrick and Pogba/Herrera in CM with Mata in front as the AM. It makes all the difference in our link up play up front.

 

Mkhitaryan's inclusion probably offsets Mata. But yeah, I'd rather have Mata start. But Mkhi needs a chance.

 

Need mata. Everton so negative for a home team.
