This was the first international football tournament that I've been to.. and loved it, had a great couple of nights in Lyon (Great city) and will remember the fan zone when England scored in injury time to beat Wales and being there when Northern Ireland beat Ukraine. The atmosphere in the stadium was something else. But my lasting memory will be of the atmosphere just walking around the city, chatting with the locals watching the France game in the pub and drinking in the streets with England, Croatia, France, Wales, Northern Ireland, Germany, Slovakia fans all joining in with each other's chants. The Northern Irish were a great laugh and a real asset to the tournament. I was still singing a few of their chants for a week when I got back
