Only watched the highlights and heard a few reports. England played quite well and should have won comfortably perhaps but wasteful finishing and the usual defensive gaffe cost them a win. As for team selection Woy picked his favourites and not players in form. Do I care how far England progress?....not really. Should they fail against the Welsh they'll be coming home early again.
Same old same old. Even as a 'non-England' hating Scotsman I would rather them do well than not. The usual case of Great Expectations
For me it was the wrong team and formation. They played well, but not well enough. We didn't hammer them and yet again our goal has come from a set piece and a defensive player. The sub decisions were costly, and defensive.
Why is Harry Kane taking corners? It's a question many England fans are asking - and struggling to answer - following the country's 1-1 draw with Russia
That Vardy...useless, just ask Hodgson, all he has is electric pace and he scores goals as well. Betbhe can take a mean corner or better still, a goal kick
Not exactly an avalanche of goals scored so far in the Euros with teams probably looking not to lose their opening match. Let's hope there are more goals in the later round of games..... PS: Hungary have just scored against Austria and Arnie is not setting the game alight IMO
Can't help but feel we were a little lucky there. A lot needs to improve if we are going to go deep in the tournament. Starting with the right players and formation. We're not playing 3 upfront, Harry Kane was on his own and Deli stuck out in the middle of nowhere!
No Stoke players left in the competition, all have survived without injury as far as I know. And did you see Shaqiri's wonder goal ? what a strike !
