Counting moths would've been a better way to spend that 45 minutes. Hopefully they're just saving the drama for the second half.

That's disgraceful from Moutinho. Totally faking a head injury to try and get an opponent sent off. He should get some sort of punishment for that, but I'm sure he won't. Not often I say this, but well done Clattenburg for not falling for it. High foot, so foul, but nothing else. Edit: Then he immediately gives a handball for the wrong team!
Decent strike by Eder to give Portugal the lead, but poor defending and Lloris nearly got it. Should he have done better? Bit harsh, maybe.
Can anyone explain how Clattenburg books the Portugese keeper for time wasting and then doesn't add any time on?
So the champions of Europe are a team who only managed one victory in normal time throughout the entire tournament? If I hadn't lived to see Greece win it, I wouldn't have believed it. Watching that as a Spurs fan, it was clear that France were sorely lacking a vocal, outfield captain who could raise their spirits as the game drifted away from them and they ran out of ideas. Seeing Pepe and Ronaldo this happy makes me nauseous.
Portugal in France do a Greece in Portugal. Disappointed for Lloris and for the French people who've been through a lot lately. The French players gave it their all in every game and just didn't look like they had enough left to give in that last game. On the basis of this tournament Pogba is quite possibly the most overrated player I've seen. £120mill? United would be mad!
If a player is near enough and hits it hard enough and close enough to the post, the keeper can’t get it. It was close, but I don’t think it was Lloris’ fault at all, especially as Eder was nearly in the center of the pitch when he hit it. It was poor defending and a good strike, I think. While the small teams were wonderful, I have to agree with whoever said this tournament got the final it deserved. Playing three games to only eliminate 1/3 of the teams was never a good idea. If you want to pick a goat, go for Griezman missing a very routine header. You had the sense after that France just weren’t going to score. Hows about 0 points for a 0-0 draw, one point for a 1-1 draw, and, maybe, 2 points for a 2-2 draw? There’s just too much caginess in international tournaments.
Never mind. Be happy for Jose and Cedric. So pleased that one Premier League side has players with Euro 2016 winner's medals. Shame France dropped Morgan due to lack of first team football. please log in to view this image
Not just last night, he didn't look anything special all tournament, or whenever I see he in Serie A and champs league. I know he scores the odd rocket but I really don't get where the £100m comes from
I don't see enough of him to judge properly. But on the evidence of this tournament, he looks overpriced. You could probably buy Sissoko for 20-25% of that price! Reading an article by Rio Ferdinand yesterday, he was apparently highly rated by the Utd players when he was there, who expressed surprise that he was allowed to leave.
I would doubt he wants a move back to United and recall he was set on Madrid. Has he got the strength to say "non" and stay put in Turin? The more I think about United under a Mourinho fresh from a big failure with an ageing Rooney and Zlatan and a player central to their game plan in Mkhitaryan having no PL experience, together with some rather poor or under-performing back-up players, the more it looks like it could go wrong if they have a poor start. Add in an under-performing £100m Pogba and things could get interesting.
