Really nice tone - lovely, at least you didn't say you weren't going to be rude this time. Doesn't make you come across as any less of an asshole though.

As I said they wouldn't be able to get away with such blatant lies in a GE. What is so hard to understand about that?
The £350m lie was challenged but that didn't negate the damage it has done or the damage the Nazi-style immigration advertising did.
The head of the Leave campaign was running (and a favourite at one point until he did a runner) to become PM. Isn't it at least sensible he would have a plan in place for implementing many of his wild claims. The fact that he didn't even have a clue how to, to such an extent that he quit and dropped out of the running for leadership says a lot!
How did the Remain economic argument fall flat? The fact they talked down to people and scaremongered is IMO the reason they failed, but the truth of the economic argument, backed up by experts around the world, seems to be coming true!
I do live in Wales, as I live in the UK. Does that mean I have to share the opinion of the majority in any region, BUT wait, I also live in Cardiff which voted, in the majority to remain. There's a pickle - which majority do I follow. Actually come to think of it, the majority of countries in the world wanted us to remain...
It's also because I live in Wales and know how much we (and I in particular) have to lose that I am angriest that people got taken in by the lies.

I don't believe that's true, the government's official position was remain and the government leaflet spelled out what they would do.
This is the list I have in front of me.
    1. The UK will not join the Euro
    2. The UK will retain its border controls
    3. The UK will not take part in any further European integration.
    4. There will be tough new restrictions on access to the welfare system
    5. We are committed to reducing red tape

I want a everyone to fly into space with me tomorrow. Whose with me? Come on if we all vote for it we can do it!

Don't worry I haven't got a plan, I've got a whole load of lies about how much better our lives will be if you vote my way and come into space. But it's up to somebody else to figure out if I'm talking BS or if it's actually feasible or a sensible idea or not. Hey I don't work for NASA, why should I have to come up with a plan?

To be clear, Carney as the governor of the BOE has to be politically independent. His job, and the Bank's is to control the monetary side of the UK's finances.

He was ridiculously accused of being biased and laughably of not knowing what he was talking about by that colossus of economic wisdom, Boris Johnson. He was asked his and the Bank's opinion of the effects on the UK economy of a vote to leave, and he gave that view, that the economy would suffer a substantial amount of damage.

The reason what he can do is limited is because The BOE controls only the monetary side of the the economy. It is the job of the prevailing Gvt to control the fiscal side. I.e. Taxes, spending, budget, etc. The Bank can have some influence by controlling the. Money supply - the amount of money in the system at any one time. And, by raising or lowering interest rates.

Get it put out to the wider public and see how you get on. <ok>

There seems to be a few posters on here would uy into the degree of bullshit. Luckily over 50% of the UK seem a tad brighter.

I dont understand why the Remain people dont think there is a plan. The plan is to leave the EU, negotiate a leaving deal with the EU and make trade deals with the rest of the world. Seeing as a lot of this is down to negotiation then any detailed plan would be ridiculous. The government would still carry on with other branches of government.
