    Leicester manager Sven Goran Eriksson is bidding to sign £3million Bristol
    City striker Nicky Maynard.

    Eriksson, backed by owner Top Raksriaksorn, has already signed eight players this summer to make his side the bookies’ favourite for promotion.

    This is really getting a bit tedious now chaps, rather than semise why dont we wait until Mr Maynard decides his future.

    Its a great money saving tactic from Sven, if they turn down 4.75M offer less money and see if they accept that

    The whole point of a forum is to discuess anything and everything to do with City. If we stopped talking about the club there is no point of us being on the site

    I dont think the BBC shut down because of a lack of use.

    After all the figures I have seen bounced around I will be stunned and gutted if Nicky Maynard moves to LCFC for less than £5m, I can live with him going to the prem for a little less but I want other championship clubs to pay a real premium to get the guy who will probablly be at the top end of the scoring chart.

    Maynard has already scored 3 goals pre-season,that surely has added an extra £1m to his value,cough up £6m lads and put us all out of our misery,one way or the other,he is replaceable,we've have got other options,it will force our hands and we can all get on with our lives.

    You dont get it do you. Sven isnt going anywhere, he will keep going after Maynard until he gets him. Sven knows Maynards wants to sign for us or he would of given in along time ago

    If you had seen him yesterday at our open day telling all and sundry that he loved it playing for Bristol City and his future was in the Premier League,I don't think Leicester City or the Viking Sven was very prominent in his thoughts,in fact he was talking about WBA....

    Prem clubs arent interested in Maynard, if they was they would of made their move by now or at least been linked with him. Maynard will be playing in the championship next season either with us or you. Its down to the player which one
