    If Portugal can win a tournament so can we.

    A lot of teams win international tournaments now without being that great. Spain in 2012 and 2008 were incredible, but the Germany WC 2014 side just did what they needed to do, and Portugal this summer were ****e for most of the tournament and somehow won the thing.

    In terms of quality players, very few nations are better equipped than us. We give ourselves a problem by putting so much pressure on the team. The media in particular but also the desperate to fail mentality that we have as fans. That will need to be turned around before we can improve our tournament chances.
