I don't know. Our poll includes me, which is traditional labour ineligible to vote. I have a good mate (west stand season ticket holder and tory voter) who always says Conservatives tend to keep quiet and just vote. He originally said that when John Major unexpectedly won all those years back. It seems to be ever more true.
In the same way that the Pope is a closet Catholic? A good rule of thumb is to take the average of the opinion polls and add 3/4% to the Tory vote.
Really? I had Royston down as a classic floating voter, who just happened to feel conservative was the way to go. Every time.
Jeremy Corbyn is guilty of raising so many false hopes. His fans are expecting a win today, seriously. I made a bet last night with one that the Tories would win more seats than Labour in Scotland. A fair analogy is with the Scottish referendum, where all the noise and euphoria was with the Yes camp, the Noes kept quiet and just voted on the day. Corbyn hasn't explained away his links to Hammas and the IRA, and the recent terrorist atrocities will affect the minds of floating voters when they reach the voting booth. It will be a case of Better the devil you know than the one you don't know. If Labour reaches 200 seats I will be over the moon. If Mrs Me had had a half-decent campaign it would have been wipe-out.
We won't be hearing much from Paul Nutter now, hopefully. I'm sure he's strong (and stable) enough to eat humble pie...................................................................or maybe not.
I fear you might not see him post here again. His lot are staring into the abyss. Brexit cant work, whatever deal we get will harm the country and the tories will always be seen as to blame. The people have now voted to reject hard brexit so where does that leave David Davis.... Only way out would be a referendum on the deal with one of the options to stay in. They wont ever agree that cos the right wing loons wont let them.
She going to face pressure from all sides of her own party now. If she's got any sense she'll do what Cameron did. He saw the writing on the wall and cut and run, and seems to be chillaxing away from it all, having dumped us in this mess.
unbelievably she's saying she intends to stay on. Let's hope the Conservative party can do something right and oust her. Over to you..
Indepenent saying Corbyn hopes to form a minority government. Really don't see how that would work. Are the Tories likely to vote in favour of laws against overseas tax dodgers, corporate businesses and all their other sponsors? Plus putting years of austerity and the dismemberment of the NHS and school system in reverse?
