Uh, I think every match is one that we could have won. Again, small margins are the difference. Until we have the ability to keep a few clean sheets, we are screwed.
The rub of the green never goes your way when you are struggling and it looks like the same today. I guess Lee lost his cool after the game with the ref which is never a good thing but understandable sometimes.
Same players making the same errors costing us big time. This has gone on too long to be anything other than the managers fault. He picks the team and should have dropped the culprits. Lets face it the players we have got are not good enough, bar Tomlin, Moore, Wilbraham, Magnusson and Abraham the rest do not cut it at Championship level.
Just got back. We wasn't played off the park and not seen it yet but I was fuming like LJ as I think the ball crossed the line from where I was. Caught by an early goal on a corner. Fielding pulled off some good saves, IMO a penalty but like the ball crossing the line you get a split second to see it live. Brownhill was my MOM, I thought Pack looked ok but went missing. A lot of times I think they broke was down to Tomlin trying fancy passes, which would of looked great if they come off but unfortunately they never. Less said about Joe Bryan the better, to me his hearts not in it. Maybe he don't like LB or something else but just didn't seem to want to get out of this rut he's in. End of the day I never expected anything after all it's Wolves and we never get anything there. IMO the LJ knockers can carry on, that's their prerogative but Tammy looked enjoying himself again so I can at least see some light at the end of this tunnel.
Are you sure it's not an oncoming train ROD? It didn't look to me just from the stats that we were outplayed and yet it still ends in another loss.
Great to be relaying on a Single 19 year old to score the goals to keep us in the championship sad state of affairs. Light at the end of the tunnel, 2 wins in 12 that is not light at the end of the tunnel. That is relagation form with a capital R.
You stick to half empty I will stick to half full. You talk about earning his stripes etc but if he did then do you think he would look at little ole Bristol City?
Not long back but I thought I'd wait for our '3rd goal' on TV. My thoughts - Pack should have buried it and it's not really conclusive either way. Junior on the pitch directing traffic afterwards was all about let's talk about that incident rather than 7 losses from 8 ! The tide is turning very quickly with the fans against Junior. SL and Junior will need to get something from Ipswich.
Ipswich is another of our unhappy hunting grounds. Don't ever remember anything but the odd draw up there, but they are in poor form as well. Aside from Wolves, results from the teams below us did us massive favours again but it cant last forever. For me, LJ now has just 5 games left to save his job.
Horrible game of football. Tomlin left side (?) was a liability. Lost the ball again and again. Freeman poor. Reid poor. Pack an ok. Brownhill an ok. Midfield = zero tempo and easy to defend against. Defence did more than ok. Could have been worse. Needs some some strong language away from the media in private with indviduals, or an absolute thrashing is in the post.
City got what they deserved. You get nada from poor habits. Put more pressure on the opponents and decisions go the other way. Effort and application creates good luck(!).
After watching yesterday's game this would be my team for Ipswich --------------------------Feilding ----------- Goldbourne ---Magnusson----Flint---Mathews Tomlin--------Brownhill---Pack/Smith----Patterson/Freeman --------------Engvall-----Abraham-------- (I know L or R might be the wrong way round so first smartass to point it out gets a kick in the nuts) Tomlin, Engvall and Patterson can swap around a bit and give us some width, with one staying up withTammy. Playing Tomlin in the hole behind Abraham ain't working and needs to sacafice for two up front. Joey needs to be taken out after yesterday's performance or if it's LJ's decision to restrict him going forward then he needs a kick in the bollocks.
They might of got what they deserved but after freezing my bollocks off up there don't make me feel any better. But thank you for pointing that out to me.
No thanks needed. Do not believe in luck in football. Apply yourselves and luck goes your way!! City yesterday did not apply themselves correctly. This is Johnson's team and it is not applying itself correctly month to month now.
