Just back to the Sterling thing- he was never that good, potential yes but actual prowess, no. Getting £50m for him was the deal of window and we had time to find replacements and weren't replacing a star player.

One more thing - here's an idea: offer Ford a contract like Luis's in 2.013 with a release clause of, say £90m to any non-Prem team.
