The birds had been rounded up and shot dead because of local complaints, according to the Virginian Pilot. However, around 75 people turned up to pay their respects to the geese, and to show the authorities in the US town that they were against the killings
The black one that was sometimes on Mock The Week was hilarious, the way she would always impersonate her mother in a Nigerian accent always was the highlight of the show pmsl
Gina Yashere and Andi Osho do that schtick all the time. If in doubt revert to the angry African parent routine. No different for the blokes too, Steven Amos throws it in every now and again and Sir Lenworth Henry has based his entire career on taking the mick out of his West Indian parents. Mock the Week and Live at the Apollo have had some truly awful comics who only seem to be there because of a BBC quota. There's the Poove ones, the Indian ones, the disabled ones, the Muslim ones, the female ones, the midget ones hardly any of whom are even remotely funny. For every Sarah Millican (who I think is excellent by the way) there are a host of Sarah Pascoes and Siobhan Conatys who are about as funny as genital herpes. The old "I'm queer so therefore hilarious" thing is wearing rather thin too, should have died out with Julian Clary's act, he hasn't been funny since Fanny the Wonder Dog snuffed it.
I got crabs once. Only thing I ever caught. In retrospect I was a right lucky bastard considering the absolute hairy's ah pumped
