    Down at Roker.

    Best chippy in town?

Haddock and chips, eat in yesterday. Superb and bursting at the seams.

    Anywhere compare in town?.

    Downeys 10/10 for me.

    Colemans in South Shields
    Minchellas in Seaburn

Comm - I wish you would change your photo mate. I like to read this website at work, and it looks really dodgy when people glance at my screen

Harry Ramsden in Amsterdam , the que of cloggies is normally about 20 or more, take a while to get served but Lush, place is immaculate as well. Whenever im missing home , i nip in for a fish lot, all the staff so far are Brits as well,so far?

Crozier St was always the best imo. But Dowmeys has eclipsed it for me.

Probably a bit too near Geordie land for you guys but Paul's fish and chips in Jarrow is amazing. One of the best I've ever had.

Well there's quite a lot wrong with Jarrow but it's all the better for my presence <laugh>. Paul's is bloody lovely though. As is the Chinese take away there near Morrisons.
