Having watched Bristol rugby as well as City there are some amazing similarities.

    1. Both extended the contracts of coaches who were by public opinion not up to the job.
    2. Neither team can defend and look fragile at the back.
    3. Both teams have players who make poor individual errors week in week out
    4. Neither team appears to have a game plan
    5. Both teams have looked out muscled and lack mental strength
    6. Both teams are staring at a real threat of relegation
    7. Both teams have the same owner who appears oblivious to the impending reality that his new stadium could be three quarters empty next season.

Bristol Flyers are not exactly going well either - 8th in a league of 12

Beginning to sound like 'Ashton Gate - Temple of Doom' ~ it's a bloody great place and gives a lot of fun to people of different interests, it's some of the people that run the place that are the doom - mongers, let's clear them out...

Actually under the league structure they have eighth is ok.

The problem with the rugby is all the years of failing in the playoffs.

The football is like where mclaren are in f1 all the parts are good apart from the engine running it needs powering and that I think also needs to come from us it's been like a morgue at times

Flyers are technically joint 8th / 9th. It's not awful but I'd say it's poor in comparison to smaller less funded teams in that league.

I have major doubts about Steve Lansdown because I see a control freak who has done a remarkable job of rebuilding Ashton Gate but misses at every opportunity to rebuild his teams to fill the new building. The difference between the 2 scenarios is on the first example he has total control, and on the second he has to hire someone who will stay under his control and say yes at the right times.

I meant having 15 on the pitch at the same time- couple of extra at the back, one in midfield and one more up front- Sure we could get away with that???

    Even with spending millions:

    Poor choice of Rugby leader.
    Ridiculous choice of football manager.
Not even sure of his judgement about Ashton Vale.

Would we have been better off with Hargreaves ?
