.......thats right. Scoring goals and still really not good enough....... Imagine the hype if he played for a big club like Chelsea or Spurs.
It's only really the Liverdickheads that come out with the crap as they are bitter they don't have a 23yr old striker with the same record.... They also say it for bites like this thread lol
Running half the length of the pitch with pace and power and slapping the ball into the net for the 17th time in 25 league appearances #doingalukaku @astro
Oviedo actually had a decent game imo. No defender in the league can live with Lukaku when he's at full pelt and bearing down at goal. He should have had another in the first half when he was wrongly flagged offside when put through as he'd rag dolled the defender and would have tapped in.
The fact he's still not signed concerns me tbh. On a side note Pickford - we've been heavily linked with him - on that showing, no ta.
I said from the start and will keep saying it.....give Robles a chance. He has had a few wobbles.....but it appears that the GK coaching has improved and he looks better with every game.
Credit where credit is due, he looks a far better keeper this season, and the new coach must surely have been part of that improvement Put it this way, I'd take him over Pickford
Im always a little easier on young keepers. they need games and mistakes to improve. Like Stones, you never improve unless you learn from mistakes. I had always said I wouldn't mind a punt of Forster - but he had a mare yesterday too
Agree on Forster, I've always liked him, but he wasn't great at Goodison and he had a poor game yesterday.
think Pickford has been out for some time so prob a bit rusty. looked very good earlier this season with the proviso that it is easier to put in eye catching performances in crap teams as you get so much more opportunity to shine.
First time I've seen him in the flesh, he looked small by modern PL keeper standards. He was defo rusty as he made a few mistakes. Unfair if I judged him solely on that one game, but if I was scouting him I'd have been far from impressed.
