To be honest I've never heard of Costa or Harvester. They couldn't have been big when I left England.

Ever since God put cameras on phones the world has gone photo crazy. The worst thing, imo, is people spending almost all of a gig or sporting event videoing (is that really a word?) the bloody thing instead of watching it.
Selfies are completely ****ing pointless.
The whole thing is symptomatic of the lookatme culture, where it's more important to be able to show off where you've been or what you've done than actually enjoy the experience.

 

Maybe 'recording' rather than 'videoing'

 

Yeah I thought that, but people use the word I wrote and the spell-check seemed perfectly happy with it, so I thought perhaps this is yet another area where I'm behind the times.

 

My phone recognises videoing too although that doesn't say much tbh

 

The world is full of dummies basically

 

or taking pictures of barmaid's arses FFS.

 

Its why cameras were invented, surely.

 

The only reason you don't like people videoing concerts on smartphones is because they always stop and search you on the door and confiscate your camcorder and tripod
