The Express has us as the dirtiest team in the Championship based on fouls committed. Surprising for me, we don't look it.
Certainly didn't apply to last night's game. Wigan committed 20 fouls to our 13, and picked up 5 yellows to our 2.
It's one of those situations where stats paint one picture but reality paints another. Most of our fouls have been little trips as well as plenty of challenges which were not actually fouls but the ref decided were. One complaint of mine this season is that we've seemed a little weak and not fierce enough!

Joint 3rd with Villa in Disciplinary table 76 Yellow Cards and 4 Red Cards.....Forest lead the way with 76 & 8
we got kicked off the park last night though yes agree we were not strong enough and the midfiled has shrunk recently
We seem to have picked up more than our fair share of un-warranted cards for trivial incidents. On the other hand it appears that Wigan were trying to kick us off the park last night.
I wish we were dirtier. The reds have been pretty **** from memory- Onuoha at Brighton and Henry at Forest were pathetic. Can't remember the others
Perch against Wolves (?), deserved whoever it was against...... Can't think of the other one off hand......
According to wiki Grant Hall is the 4th for 2 yellow cards, don't remember that one must admit........
