    I don't think it was just on Sunday but Kimi has shown more of a spark this season than last. But there have been a fair few errors that just aren't the stuff you'd expect from a driver of Kimi's calibre and they tend to occur at corners, such as losing the car on the exit, which has happened on at least a couple of occasions.

    It makes sense that it's down to the lack of traction control in the recent era. Would you agree that since then he hasn't ever found his peak?

    Seems to me that Kimi is a very heavy footed character. And that he is either on or off the throttle, no inbetween. Maybe that is hampering him.

    I have the complete opposite impression of him, seems to he to have one of the deftest right feet on the grid. I can't really pinpoint anything he's doing wrong, he's just underperforming. He's always blown hot and cold, as he's got older it's been more cold than hot. There was traction control in 2008 and he had a really disappointing season.
