We have confidence in scoring regularly now as our front guys look dangerous but at the back we look like a bunch of strangers at times? I tell you what with this squad I reckon we'd do better under Moyes?
As good as we look sometimes with the pretty stuff without our goals we'd be down the bottom and pretty ****ed...

Lukaku is a monster, for me the 2nd best striker in the PL.

It's a shame you don't have a £40mil defender to sure things up at the back. Surely in January you'll strengthen?

Yeah Martinez isn't the greatest defensively tbf!!

Maybe a shuffle round with coaching staff is needed? A good defensive coach could be your best signing this window.

    Yep.

....and a keeper worthy of the title.

    Taj is a busted flush.

Smells like a Martinez out post. Then we would see his players look to leave and have to start again.

Wigan relegated, yes; with the leagues smallest budget. Moyes also had yo-yo seasons. I wouldn't let Moyes anywhere near this squad, he would ruin Rom in weeks and have Gerry playing like Kilbane.
Let's also not forget the good stuff Bobby has done at the back.

Trusted Stones, blooded Browning and Galloway and snatched Holgate away on his time at United on trial.

We play to Roms strength a little too much and leave us exposed at the back. But McCarthy and Besic out hasn't helped at times to assist Barry.

Nobody else springs to mind in the replacement stakes for me, apart from Howe. But then it's like for like IMO

No one was suggesting replacing Martinez merely that he should bring in a defensive coach to assist him on the training ground, as defensive drills don't even seem to appear on his schedule currently

I get the feeling that like Moyes with Round, Martinez has a clear idea of what he wants.

It's not a surprise that a former forward (Ferguson) set his side up to score, a former defender (Moyes) to defend and a midfielder (Martinez) to keep ball
